Date of Exam
The date of exam has been scheduled on July 8, 2018 (Sunday).
Date of Submission of form online
The online application can be filled from March 6, 2018.
The last date of applying online is April 5, 2018 and the fees can be paid on or before April 6, 2018.
Detailed Notification
The detailed notification will be available on the official website http://cbsenet.nic.in from February 1, 2018.
Exam Pattern
As per the revised scheme, the test will consist of two papers as below:
Paper-I
Paper I will be of 100 marks consisting of 50 compulsory questions.
The duration of the paper will be one hour from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.
The questions will be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching or research attitude of the candidate. It will be primarily designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.
Paper II
Paper II will be of 100 marks consisting of 100 compulsory questions.
The duration of which will be two hours, from 11 am to 1 pm on the same day.
Paper-II shall consist of 100 objective type compulsory questions each carrying two marks which will be based on the subject selected by the candidate.
Upper age limit for JRF
The upper age limit for appearing in JRF has also been increased by two years, i.e. from the existing upper age limit of 28 years to 30 years.
